پیامبر مقدس خدا نیز، حضرت محمد، «وقتی ۴۰ سال داشت در غاری در خارج از مکه ، وقتی در حال عبادت بود وحی الهی بر او نازل شد، و ابتدا در اعضا خانواده و به صورت خصوصی و سپس به صورت عمومی، شروع به موعظه کردند. طرفداران و ناراضیان هر دو به موعظه هایش واکنش نشان دادند.»
