The Mysteries of our
Father who is in Heaven are inscrutable. We
understand them as He, according to his Holy Will,
reveals their understanding and their fulfillment to
us, which must lead us to "a fountain beyond
the summits of the [Andean] mountains, instead of
leading to the sea." Along that current the
Holy Apostle Judas of Kerioth lives and serves "so
that others also rise up the river of destiny".
"... destiny is
not and has never been in the hands of men, but in
the will of the Great Hidden Lord in the Highest
and Most Sacred of the Mayab, beyond the summits
of the Andean mountains." ("The Flight of the

One of these
Mysteries is that of the arrival of "the sons of
Israel" at the Cordilleras of the Andes and the
following colonization in the Andean Mountains and
Mounts and Valleys of Antioquia by Sephardic Jews
for the resurgence of the stream of Early Gnostic
Christianity as in Antioch of Syria in other times.
"Antioch [of Syria] becomes the
center from where methodical consistent
propaganda is made. Among this group of Jews and
Gentiles who believe that Jesus has been Jews'
Messiah, the Greek word "Christ" is used for the
first time, which is the literal translation of
Meschiaj (Messiah) and since then the nameless
believers have been called Christians."

Jewish beliefs."

claimed to have an intuitive knowledge of the

It was in Antioch of Syria where
our Lord Jesus The Christ's Flock began to be
called with the name Christians: "... and the
disciples were called Christians first in
Antioch." (The Acts of the Apostles, 11:26).
The spiritual
stream of early Christians from Antioch of Syria was
very especially contained in the poetic and
"markedly optimistic" language of Salvation of the
"Odes of Solomon" with content about Essene and
Gnostic doctrines of an antiquity that dates back to
the year 70 of our Christian Era.
The Odes of
Solomon are one of the oldest testimonies of Early
Christianity Communities.
"The Odes of
Solomon", containing "a Gnosis in broad
sense", range from an Essene Gnosis or
Knowledge, rooted in the dawn of Early Christianity,
to its new flowering and fruition in the Christian
Gnosis and, later, in the Valentinian Christian
Gnosis.
The "Odes of
Solomon" are regarded by scholars as one of the
greatest discoveries "for the knowledge of
early Christianity"; "the oldest Collection of
Christian Hymns"; "a Gnostic Hymnal of the second
century"; containing "a Gnosis in broad sense";
or written by an author belonging to the Qumran
Essene Community and integrated in the bosom of
Early Christianity.
"Recently
further parallels have been noticed, especially
with the Gospel of Truth [of the Gnostic Master
Valentine] and the Hodayot [Hymns], the
Thanksgiving Hymns of the Qumran Community."
The Christian
Gnosis of Valentine and the Valentinians continued
through Shimon ben Yohai's esoteric language of
Kabbalah in the Zohar and Isaac Luria's teachings of
Kabbalah (Sixteenth Century, 1534-1572).
The explanations transmitted by Isaac Luria to his
Disciple Hayyim Vital about the "En Soph" or Holy
Infinite (the Infinite Father), his contraction,
concentration or withdrawal in Himself and His
emanation of the first Light, have many similarities
with Gnostics' (Valentinians') conceptions of Early
Christianity about the Absolute or Pleroma, His
withdrawal (of the Supreme Being, the Inaccessible
God, the Absolute Father) in Himself from the exact
central point of His Infinite Light and His first
emanation: "The Small Idea": Jesus, as it
is stated, for example, in "The Books of Jeu"
("Book 1 of Jeu") mentioned by Jesus the
Christ our Lord in the "Pistis Sophia",
which indicates that they were written in an earlier
time, although coming from the same Gnostic Esoteric
circle.
Isaac Luria's
Kabbalistic Doctrine is "deeply related" to the
Gnostic Doctrine of true Gnostic Christians of Early
Christianity that has its highest and fullest
expression in "The Books of Jeu" and the "Pistis
Sophia".
Isaac Luria was born in Jerusalem in 1534, some 40
years after the Jews were expelled from Spain. For
many years he dedicated himself to studying Shimon
ben Yohai's teachings contained in The Zohar, which
he was able to understand thanks to what was
spiritually revealed to him by the Prophet Elijah,
teachings that He transmitted to his Disciple Hayyim
Vital and to other Disciples in Safed, Galilee.
Rabbi Shimon ben
Yohai was the reincarnation of Prophet Moses' Soul,
and Rabbi Isaac Luria was the reincarnation of
Shimon ben Yohai's Soul.
Rabbi Hayyim Vital
was the reincarnation of Prophet Elijah's Soul.
Shimon ben Yohai's
and Isaac Luria's teachings prepared the resurgence
of the stream of Gnostic teachings in the New Age of
Aquarius which began on February 4, 1962.
Isaac Luria,
explaining what is written in the section of the
Zohar (Ray"ah Mehemna, Bereishis 25b; 253), tells
Hayyim Vital that Aaron the Priest was (at the time
of the Exodus) Moses' Interpreter (As Moses was of
"uncircumcised lips").
And that "In the
End of Days", Moses "will return" and will be of
"uncircumcised lips" again. But the Prophet Elijah
(Eliyahu), who will be reincarnated, "will be his
Interpreter", as Aaron was Moses' interpreter.
The Prophet Moses
was Enoch or Metatron Sar
Hapanim Reincarnate:
"103" "... none but you may use
Metatron Sar Hapanim since your name [MoSheH] is
intimated in the initials of his, for the
initial letters of the words Metatron Sar
Hapanim are Mem shin hei, which spell Mosheh
(Moses)." (The Zohar, Parashat Pinhas,
Volume I.)
The French
Kabbalist, Abbot Eliphas Levy, referring to "the
coming of the Messianic era", wrote in "Major
Arcana and Key of Solomon" in 1860:
"Enoch will
appear in the year two thousand of the Christian
era. Then, Messianism, of which he will have to be
the precursor, will flourish on earth for one
thousand years. These forecasts are the result of
all the prophecies and of all the qabbalistic
calculations…"
(Moses' Soul was
the Reincarnation of the Soul of Abel, Seth,
[Enoch], Noah and Shem: "In
the beginning, Moshe [Moses] was Hevel [Abel],
who was the son of Adam HaRishon. Later, he
(Hevel) reincarnated into Shais [Seth], then
Noach [Noah], and after that, into Shem son of
Noach." [...]. "Noach reincarnated into
Moshe,...". Isaac Luria, "Gates of
Reincarnation").
The Hebrew Prophecies announced
that, in the end times, the Prophet Elijah and the
Prophet Moses would be reincarnated and that the
Prophet Elijah would be like Aaron and as the
Precursor of the Prophet Moses:
"In the future in the
generation of Moshiach [in these Last Days],
Moses' Soul will return in a Reincarnation to
teach Torah to Israel. The Messiah [Moses or
Shiloh] will also be peaceful and not very
eloquent [i.e. most of the "People" will not
listen to him] as (happened to) Moses; and
Eliyahu [Elijah, Elias] the prophet will be a
"translator" for him. Eliyahu (Elijah) will be
the Reincarnation of Pinchas, the son of
Eleazar, the son of Aaron the High priest,..."
"The Zohar says (Ray'ah
Mehemna, Bereishis 25b; 253) that even though
Moshe Rabbeinu was the teacher of all of Israel,
his interpreter was Aharon HaKohen, as it says,
'He will be a mouth for you' (Shemos 4:16),
since Moshe had a 'heavy mouth' and 'heavy
tongue.' In the 'End of Days' in the generation
of Moshiach, Moshe will return to teach Torah to
Israel and will still be of 'uncircumcised
lips.' However, Eliyahu, who will 'chai,' will
be his interpreter, and this is the sod of the
posuk, 'Pinchas the son of Elazar the son
of Aharon HaKohen' (Bamidbar 25:11). This
is as it is written, 'If [one is drawn] to
scoffers, he will scoff' (Mishlei 4:37): when
they will need a translator for Moshe, Eliyahu
who will be 'chai' will translate and be Moshe's
interpreter."

time his interpreter will be Eliyahu, who will
live again. Actually, he is Pinchas ben Elazar ben
Aharon HaKohen, the brother of Moshe Rabbeinu.
This is what it means, 'If (one is drawn) to
the scoffers, he will scoff, but (if one is
drawn) to the humble he will find favor,' that

From Amsterdam
to the Andes of Colombia
The Gnostic Christian
Stream flowed from Palestine to Antioch of Syria and
from there, like in other places, it received a warm
reception from Kabbalists of Safed in Galilee, very
especially Isaac Luria's teachings transmitted in
the writings by his Disciple Hayyim Vital, reaching
the circles of Christian and Jewish Mystics of
Amsterdam, Holland, wherein he had many followers.
In Amsterdam,
Menasseh ben Israel (Manoel Dias Soeiro, 1604-1657),
Portuguese Jew, was integrated into a wide circle of
Jewish and Christian friends, being called for that
reason, "the father of Judeo-Christian
friendship".
In the seventeenth
century there were many Jewish converts in Holland.
Menasseh ben Israel studied Shimon ben Yohai's and
Isaac Luria's teachings of the Kabbalah.
Sephardim of Portuguese origin, who in some way came
to know the studies of Jewish Mysticism carried out
in the Kabbalistic circles of Amsterdam and who were
part of the first Jewish settlers arrived in South
America, some of them having settled themselves in
the mountains of ancient Antioquia (*1), Colombia,
undoubtedly conveyed this knowledge to their
descendants, enclothing it with names, costumes and
traditions adapted to the way of being of their
time. The "memories" of those esoteric teachings of
the Torah were deposited in the Paisas'
(*2) subconscious and in their genetic memory,
although they had already lost the memory of them,
due to the need that forced them to appear not as
Jews before other settlers who were not of Sephardic
origin, remaining hidden by the veil of symbolism in
many of their customs and traditions.
(*1) Here we use
the words "ancient Antioquia" as a reference to
identify the possible territory in the cordillera
where Aaron Levi met a group of Israelites who
were already there long before Europeans' arrival
and obviously long before that part of the
territory within the cordillera was given the name
of Antioquia.
(*2) "Paisas" is a
word that encompasses the native of Antioquia,
Caldas, Quindio, Risaralda, Libano (Tolima) and
other Departments of Colombia where there was
Antioquian colonization.
The writer
Eduardo Santa who was born in Libano, Tolima
Department, widely develops "el fenómeno"
de "La Colonización Antioqueña" ["the phenomenon" of "La Colonización Antioqueña"
("The Antioquian Colonization")...],
in his book so titled.
It must be taken
into account that Antioquian territory map has
changed several times: 1580, 1644, 1760, 1800, 1813,
1824, 1830, 1847, 1851, 1856, 1863, 1886, 1905,
1908, 1910, 1926, 1960…
A great deal of Antioquians' religious traditions
and customs are both Sephardic and Christian,
although rooted in ancient Israelite traditions.
From the Andes of
Colombia the fountain and sprout of the tree of
Early Gnostic Judeo-Christianity have sprung up
again: there the human persons of the Three Messiahs announced
in the Essene Texts from Qumran
were born.
With
the expulsion of the Jews from Spain and
Portugal in the late fifteenth century, a new
dispersion was originated not only to the Holy Land,
Egypt and elsewhere in Europe, but also to America.
The
expulsion of the Jews from Spain in 1492
coincided with the "discovery of America" in that
same year.
From the early
days of conquistadors' arrival to the Indies after
called America, a large number of Portuguese Jews
arrived to these lands. "These were deep-rooted
in the Mosaic law and their religious faith. They
were a nucleus closer than the Spanish".
Many Spanish Jews
were forced to move to Portugal before they
emigrated to America: Argentina, Brazil, the Andean
region, the Caribbean Islands and lands, etc.
By the year 1882 and thereafter, some "Words
ascribed to judge Manuel Antonio del Campo y Rivas"
became renowned, we quote some textual paragraphs of
them in the way of writing of that time:
"We have already
said that [marshal] jorge Robledo, one of the
lieutenants of Belalcázar..., founded the cities
of Anserma..., Cartago, Arma and Antioquia..."
"The marshal, who manifested a very striving
spirit in all his undertakings, brought many Gypsy
families, i.e. of Egyptian origin; as Gypsy in our
Romance is but the transformation of that same
word. He left fourteen families in Antioquia or
Santa Fé, that were moved by Juan de Cabrera to
the other side of the great river of Santamarta or
Cauca, four in Cartago, then, in Arma and Anserma,
he left none, and the other fews in the plains of
Buga..."
"But gypsies, they all moved down to Aburrá
Valley…" (Medellín).
"We said that gypsies or Egyptians had settled
themselves in the Aburrá valley, and there they
have increased in number throughout that vast
country; the villa de la Candelaria of Medellín
being founded with them... As you should know that
these gypsies are Jews established from the time
of the Pharaohs in Egypt..."
"...The marshal gave them the land of Aburrá as
far as the hill called Buriticá [*] that now
borders on the civil Government of Popayán..."
* [according to the official website of Buriticá
in Antioquia, Colombia, the municipality of
Buriticá (bordering south on Santafé de Antioquia)
is located at a distance of 93 kilometers from
Medellín].
"Almost all the people who live in that region are
from the gypsies we talked about and their
mingling with indigenous women, for the marshal
indeed forced his soldiers to get married with
indigenous women..."
These words have
arisen many controversies, which some ascribed to
the aforementioned "Judge of the Kingdom of
Guatemala, Assistant Dean of the Royal Audience of
Guadalajara in the Kingdom of Galicia, Viceroyalty
of New Spain and collegiate of San Bartolomé de
Bogotá..." Others argue that they were wrongly
ascribed to him, given that no document was found
that confirms their authorship.
In any case, among those who accompanied Jorge
Robledo from Cartagena to colonize Antioquia, there
were Jewish converts.
Tradition about Gypsies' Egyptian origin is very old
and, although someone has tried to assign them an
Hindustan origin, their Religious Laws have many
parallels with the Hebrew Torah.
In
"La Biblia en verso [The Bible in verse] by Ignacio de Luzán [1702-1754]
(257 unpublished octaves)..." in "The
National Library of Madrid", an ancient
manuscript is preserved "under the codex Mss.
2528..." In one of its verses, it is written:
"XXXV - THE BUSH
THAT MOSES SAW"
"Oh Moses,
barefoot He worships the holy Deity hidden in the
fire that was burning the bush.
Don't be afraid,
ambassador sent to the Gypsy palace 21, for this
flame you see will made your words powerful."

Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Joseph, Moses, Elijah, Jesus
The Christ our Lord and the Virgin Mary.
A Gypsy Flamenco
Christmas carol called "la Virgen Gitana" ["the
Gipsy Virgin"] is dedicated to the Virgin
Mary.
Our Venerable
Master Samael Aun Weor Clairvoyantly describes the
Virgin of Carmel "Mary, the Divine Mother of
Jesus of Nazareth" with "Gypsy eyes":
"Indeed, Mary
was not that worldly beauty painted in all the
watercolors. With the eyes of the Spirit we only
contemplate a brunette virgin, burned by the
desert sun. Before our astonished spiritual eyes,
slender bodies and provocative faces of feminine
images are blurred away, replaced by a simple
young woman, small in stature, with a slim body,
small oval face, blunt nose, protruding upper lip,
Gypsy eyes, and wide forehead."
Gypsies also
worship "Saint Sarah Kali", wrongly interpreted as
the negative aspect of "Kali" by those unaware of
their sacred traditions.
"Kali" has two
aspects: the Positive Heavenly Kali's aspect is our
Divine Mother KUNDALINI, the Serpent that Moses
lifted up in the desert. Kali's negative aspect is
"the abominable organ Kundartiguador", the dark evil
infernal serpent.
"In India, Kali the Divine
Mother Kundalini is worshipped, but Kali in her
black, fatal aspect is also worshipped. These
are the two Marys: the white and the black."

"Christ is always the Son of the Divine Mother
Kundalini. She always conceives her Son through
the work and grace of the Third Logos. She is
always Virgin; before the birth, during the
birth and after the birth. Among the Egyptians,
the Virgin is Isis; among the Hindu, Kali (in
her positive aspect); among the Aztecs,
Tonantzin. She is Rhea, Cybele, Maria, Adonia,
Insoberta, etc., etc., etc." (Venerable
Master Samael Aun Weor's Teachings.)
The Virgin "Saint
Sarah Kali" of the Gipsies represents Kali's
Positive aspect, the Divine Mother Kundalini.
The Virgin "Saint Sarah" of the Gipsies represents
Abraham's Wife, Sarah, and Brahma's Wife, Saraswati.
As for the first cities founded by Jorge Robledo
bearing the names of Cartago and Antioquia in
Colombia, these names evoke ancient stories and
great events with deep imprints left on the memory
of the Jewish and Christian People of Israel.
A Cartago City
district in Valle del Cauca Department in Colombia
is called "Modín". In relation to the name "Villa de
Medellín", that some ascribe to the "Count of
Medellín" (of Jewish origin), others ascribe its
origin to "Villa de Medeín" or "Modín" of the Priest
Matityahu and his sons the Maccabees.
In Antioquia,
Colombia, there are many names of Hebrew origin that
were given to a large number of towns by their
founders.
Biblical names are very common among Antioquians.
Their way of speaking has much in common with the
Sephardic accent. The treatment of "Usted" and "Vos"
is almost generally used until the present day.
"The familiar form of address
does not exist among Sephardim and practically
it was not used in Antioquia." [...] "It has
been said that the way Antioquians speak and
their accent are present in some Sephardic

Traditions and
customs of Sephardic origin are preserved by family
tradition. Antioquian bread is the traditional and
original "arepa", handmade with corn and
water, without yeast and salt, flat or round, or the
bread corresponding to the "Matzah", the
unleavened bread and without yeast of the People of
Israel of the night of Exodus in the "Pesach"
celebrations or "Jewish Passover". The preparation
to make "arepas" is called "la masa"
[the dough], phonetically similar to the word "the
Matzah". The corn for our "Matzah" is left to
soak in water overnight before cooking to be further
processed in dough in the manual "grinding machine
(mill)".
"Hanukkah"
celebration in Antioquia, Colombia, was perpetuated
in the traditional "Fiesta
de los Alumbrados" ["Festival of Lights"] or
Day of the "Little Candles" on December 7
and 8 every year, in "remembrance" of the
celebration of "The Eight Days of Milah"
or "The Eight Days of Hanukkah" (Tikunei Zohar,
13) to commemorate the Covenant of the
Alliance.
"Eight"... days after the celebration of our
"Hanukkah" or "Chanukah" and before the "manger"
with its humble Sukkah (Booth or hut wherein the
"Small and Beautiful Savior" will be "born"), the
traditional "Novena de Aguinaldos" [Christmas
Novena] by Franciscan friar Fernando de Jesús
Larrea, born in Quito to Colombian father and
Ecuadorian mother, which are inspired "by Medieval
Christmas Carols", begins in many households.
In "Compendium and description of the West
Indies", written around the year 1629
(published in 1948), Antonio Vásquez de Espinosa
said:
"... It is no
slight evidence in favor of our thesis that when
they conquered the Provinces where at present the
city of Antioquia has been founded, in the new
Kingdom [of Granada], the local King (or Cacique)
was named Isac and his wife ludit (Judith)."
In the book "De
los Judíos en la Historia de Colombia" ("Jews
in the History of Colombia"), the writer
Daniel Mesa Bernal says:
"There is the
common belief that during the Conquest and
Colonization many converted Jews arrived from
Portugal as far as the Mountain (as they used to
call Antioquia). Luis Eduardo Agudelo Ramírez
believes that "Therefore, whether people of
Antioquia have few or much in common with Jews, it
was due to the heritage of this first century,
resulting not so much from Andalusians,
Extremadurans and first Basques, but
rather from Portuguese Jews or Christians of
Lusitanian origin, who, in
their majority, were none other than
Sephardic refugees in Portugal after the expulsion
from Spain, still awaiting for an objective
analysis of their secret history and their real
influence on the new American society.".
Antioquians'
Hebrew origin is in dispute according to
genealogical studies. But we must consider that the
Israelites who arrived in Antioquia used to change
their names and "surnames" to protect themselves
against the tribunals of Inquisition, possibly
destroying any document where their former names
appeared. One example is the surname "Acosta" which
formerly was "de Acosta".
In the book "Cherokee
DNA Studies Real People Who Proved the
Geneticists Wrong", written by "DONALD
N. YATES and TERESA A. YATES", they say:
"Chief Black Fox
[*1], my ancestor, was a Scotsman descended from
Blacks and Foxes. I believe all these families
were Scottish crypto-Jews. They were heavily
intermarried, generation after generation."
"I ran a search
for matches on Bowles DNA in the Y-STR Haplotype
Reference Database. There were 17 matches in
Europe—Albania, Berlin, Budapest, Bulgaria,
Bydgoszcz in northern Poland, Cologne, Colombia
(2), Freiburg, Latium, Pomerania, Stuttgart,
Sweden, Tyrol, Umbria, Warsaw and Westphaia. A
"one-off" mutation produced Freiburg and Lombardy.
The picture that emerged was one that closely
echoed the distribution pattern for the Gothic
invasions that repeopled Italy, France and Spain.
To the contrary, the predominant matches in our
Melungeon surname study have led to the Iberian
Peninsula and to places like Antioquia, Colombia,
where Marranos [*2] and crypto-Jews emigrated.
Here was a Jewish haplotype that, historically
speaking, seemed to have traveled out of
Scandinavia and the Baltic region, passed through
Italy to Spain and Scotland and migrated on to the
Americas, where it mingled with the Indians."

In Colombia,
Paisas are even today given the term of "Berracos"
with labial "B", although in Castilian it is written
with labiodental "V".
"Verraco" is a name that stands for "Wild
Boar".
In the Far East the Wild Boar is one of
the symbolic forms of incarnation of Hindu Lord
Vishnu, called "the Varaha Avatar" or "the
Boar Avatar".
In Spain and Portugal there are megalithic monuments
called "Verracos" ["Boars"] with
zoomorphic shapes of bulls, wild boars, etc.
"Vettones'" Culture of Celtic origin is
also called "Boars' Culture".
In the Anglo-Saxon epic poem called "Beowulf",
translated into Spanish, the word "Boar", which was
the animal sacred to the Norse God Frey, is
mentioned several times.
"... Frey is the
God of Sun and Rain, and the patron of bountiful
harvests... He is also the Ruler of the Elves.".
"Frey (Frode,
is) the harvest and Boar God,...".
In "THE
YOUNGER EDDAS OF STURLESON", the Boar of Frey
is "named Gullinbursti [Gold Mane] or
Slidrugtanni..."

'Maha-Manvantara of the Boar', a completely
Sanskrit word..." (Venerable Master

"... Vishnu [...] in his first
Avatara [assumes] the form of a boar, in order
to raise the earth on the surface of the waters
of space." (H. P. Blavatsky, Volume V of
"The Secret Doctrine").
To the Paisas
of Colombia the epithet "Berraco" ["Boar"]
is not offensive; on the contrary, it has positive
meanings. The consciousness of
the Crypto-Jewish Soul of Antioquia was
able to turn the offensive epithet "marranos"
applied to the converted Jews by the Inquisition
into the complimentary epithet (not in academic
Castilian but in the traditional one of the Paisas)
"verraco" or "berraco" ["boar"] spoken and
written by the Paisas with labial "b", but
written in Castilian with labiodental "v", perhaps
as a kind of subconscious "Crypto-Jewish" rebellion
against its meaning in Castilian with "v" as it

Colombia, of a strong Jewish heritage among
Antioquians, "Several Israelis have defended

The Hope of Israel
The following narrative is
taken from the work "The Hope of Israel", written in
Amsterdam by "Menasseh Ben Israel" (Wise very
Learned Hebrew of Portuguese origin, Polyglot,
Commentator of Holy Books and Talmud and dedicated "...
among others, to Rabbi Joseph da Costa, Deputy
Parnassim of Kahal Kadosh of Israel.").
The work contains
the narrative of the Jew "Aharon Levi" (who called
himself Antonio de Montezinos) of the encounter with
approximately 300 "sons of Israel" in the Cordillera
Mountains of Ancient Antioquia in Colombia by the
year 1642.
It was believed that this encounter happened in a
territory divided by La Miel River that runs between
the present Departments of Antioquia and Caldas,
Colombia. At that time the territorial boundaries
were not definitively established and many changes
have occurred since then. In any case, the encounter
must have taken place at the banks of one of the
rivers of the Cordillera Central of the Andes,
formerly populated by Indigenous Pijao, Panche and
Nutabe, among others.
Chronicler Fray
Pedro Simon in Volume V, Chapter XLI, of his "Historical
Notices of the Conquest of Tierra Firme in the
Western Indies", describes an Indigenous
Christian woman Pijao "white-skinned face, tall
body, thin and looking no older than fifty,... her
name was Anica,...", whom the Pijaos of
Cacique Calarca called "Bota Anica" or "Mother
Anica".
"Relation of
[Aharon Levi, alias,] Antony Montezinus":
"In the 18th of the Month of Elul: the 5404 year
from the Worlds creation, and according to common
compute, in 1644, Aaron Levi, otherwise called
Antonius Montezinus came into this City Amsterdam,
and related to the Sieur Menasseh ben Israel, and
other cheifetains of the Portugal Nation,
Inhabitants of the same City, these things which
follow."
"That it was two years and a halfe, since that he
going from the Port Honda [on the west bank of the
Magdalena river, in present Tolima Department in
Colombia] in the West-Indies, to the Papian
jurisdiction [in the present Cauca Department], he
conducted some Mules of a certaine Indian, whose
name was Franciscus Castellanus, into the Province
of Quity, and that there was one in company with him
and other Indians, whose name was Francis, who was
called by all Cazicus. That it happened that as they
went over the Mountaines Cordilleræ, a great tempest
arose, which threw the loaden Mules to the ground.
The Indians being afflicted by the sore tempest,
every one began to count his losses; yet confessing
that all that and more grievous punishments were but
just, in regard of their many sins. But Francis bad
them take it patiently, for that they should shortly
injoy rest: the others answered, that they were
unworthy of it; yea that the notorious cruelty used
by the Spaniards towards them, was sent of God,
because they had so ill treated his holy people, who
wer of al others the most innocent;..."
Indigenous Francisco then spoke to Montezinos about
the help that they would receive "via hidden
people..."
Some time later, and having traveled to the City of
Cartagena in Colombia, Montezinos was taken prisoner
by the Inquisition.
In prison he
promised himself, if he would be freed from there,
he would go back to the same place where he talked
with the Indigenous Francisco, "he sought out
Franciscus beleeving that hee would repeat to him
againe what he had spoken; he therefore being set
at liberty, through Gods mercy went to the Port
Honda, and according to his desire, found him...".
We include the following paragraphs of the book "The
Hope of Israel" written by "Menasseh Ben
Israel":
"... But I having curiously examined what ever
hath hitherto been writ upon this subject doe
finde no opinion more probable, nor agreeable to
reason, then that of our Montezinus, who saith,
that the first inhabitants of America, were the
ten Tribes of the Israelites, whom the Tartarians
conquered, and drove away; who after that (as
God would have it) hid themselves behind the
Mountaines Cordilleræ [of the Ancient Antioquia
Department]. ... as also other people of the
East-Indies came by that Streight which is between
India, and the Kingdome of Anian. But that people,
according to our Montezinus, made warre upon those
Inhabitants the Israelites, whom they forced up [the
Aboriginal Israelites of the Andes of Colombia] unto
the mountaines, and the in-land Countries, as
formerly the Brittaines were driven by the Saxons
into Wales... I see not anything that comes
nearer truth..."
The Indigenous Cacique Francisco, after testing
Montezinos to know if he was sincere, led him
through a very difficult and thoroughly dangerous
journey by foot, across the Cordillera Mountains of
Ancient Antioquia in Colombia for over a week,
starting from the Port Honda, located on the west
bank of Magdalena river, in present Tolima
Department, Colombia.
"They being thus
accoutred, travelled the whole weeke, unto the
Sabbath Day; on which day they resting, the day
after they went on, till Tuesday, on which day about
eight a clock in the morning, they came to a River
as bigge as Duerus [possibly "la Miel" River, in the
present boundaries between the Departments of
Antioquia and Caldas], then the Indian said,
Here you shall see your Brethren, and making a
signe with the fine linnen of Xylus, which they had
about them instead of a Girdle; thereupon on the
other side of the River they saw a great smoke, and
immediately after, such another signe made as they
had made before; a little after that, three men,
with a woman, in a little Boat came to them, which
being come neare, the woman went ashore, the rest
staying in the Boat; who talking a good while with
the Indian, in a Language which Montezinus
understood not; she returned to the Boat, and told
to the three men what she had learned of the Indian;
who always eying him, came presently out of the
Boat, and embraced Montezinus, the woman after their
example doing the like; after which, one of them
went back to the Boat, and when the Indian bowed
downe courteously, and talked a good while with him.
After that, the Indian bid Montezinus to be of good
courage, and not to looke that they should come a
second time to him, till he had fully learned the
things which were told him at the first time. Then
those two men coming on each side of Montezinus,
they spoke in Hebrew, the 4th.ver. of Deut.6.
SEMATH ISRAEL, ADONAI ELOHENU ADONAI EHAD; THAT
IS, HEARE O ISRAEL, THE LORD OUR GOD IS ONE GOD.
Then the Indian Interpreter being asked, how it was
in Spanish, they spoke what followes to Montezinus,
making a short pause between every particular:"
"1 Our Fathers are
Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, and Israel, and they
signified these foure by the three fingers lifted
up; then they joyned Reuben, adding another finger
to the former three."
"2 We will bestow
severall places on them who have a minde to live
with us."
"3 Joseph dwels in
the midst of the Sea, they making a signe by two
fingers put together, and then parted them."
"4 They said
(speaking fast) shortly some of us will goe forth to
see, and to tread underfoot; at which word they
winked, and stamped with their feet."
"5 One day we
shall all of us talke together, they saying, Ba,
ba, ba; and we shall come forth as issuing out of
our Mother the earth."
"6 A certaine
Messenger shall goe forth."
"7 Franciscus
shall tell you somewhat more of those things, they
making a signe with their finger, that much must not
be spoken."
"8 Suffer us that
we may prepare ourselves; and they turning their
hands and faces every way, thus prayed to God, DO
NOT STAY LONG."
"9 Send twelve
men, they making a signe, that they would have men
that had beards, and who are skillfull in writing."
"The Conference
being ended, which lasted a whole day, the same
returned on Wednesday, and Thursday, and spake the
same things againe, without adding a word; at last
Montezinus being weary that they did not answer what
he asked them, nor would suffer him to goe over the
river, he cast himself into their Boat: but he being
forced out againe, fell into the River, and was in
danger to be drowned, for he could not swim; but
being got out of the water, the rest being angry,
said to him; attempt not to passe the River, nor to
enquire after more than we tell you; which the
Indian interpreted to him, the rest declaring the
same things both by signs, and words."
"You must observe,
that all those three dayes the Boat, stayed not in
the same place, but when those foure who came went
away, other foure came, who all as with one mouth,
repeated all the fore-mentioned particulars, there
came and went about three hundred."
"Those men are
somewhat scorched by the Sun, some of them weare
their haire long, downe to their knees, other of
them shorter, and others of them much as we commonly
cut it. They were comely of body, well accoutred,
having ornaments on their feet, and leggs, and their
heads were compassed about with a linnen cloath."
"Montezinus saith,
that when he was about to be gone, on Thursday
evening, they shewed him very much courtesie, and
brought him whatever they thought fit for him in his
journey, and they said, that themselves were well
provided with all such things, (sc. meats, garments,
flocks, and other things) which the Spaniards in
India call their owne. The same day, when they came
to the place where they have rested, the night
before they came to the River, Montezinus said to
the Indian; You remember Francis, that my Brethren
told me, that you should tell me something,
therefore I entreat you, that you would not thinke
much to relate it. The Indian answered, I will tell
you what I know, only doe not trouble me, and you
shall know the truth, as I have received it from my
fore-fathers; but if you presse me too much, as you
seeme to doe, you will make me tell you lyes; attend
therefore I pray, to what I shall tell you. Thy
Brethren are the Sons of Israel, and brought
thither by the providence of God, who for their
sake wrought many Miracles, which you will not
beleeve, if I should tell you what I have learned
from my Fathers; we Indians made war upon them
in that place, and used them more hardly then we now
are by the Spaniards; then by the instigation of our
Magicians (whom we call Mohanes) [*] [priests] we
went armed to that place where you saw your
Brethren, with an intent to destroy them; but not
one of all those who went thither, came back againe;
whereupon we raised a great Army, and set upon them
but with the same successe, for againe none escaped;
which hapned also the third time, so that India was
almost bereft of all inhabitants, but old men, and
women, the old men therefore: and the rest who
survived, beleeving that the Magicians used false
dealing, consulted to destroy them all, and many of
them being killed those who remained promised to
discover somewhat that was not knowne; upon that
they desisted from cruelty, and they declared such
things as follow:"
"That the God
of those Children of Israel is the true God, that
all that which is engraven upon their stones is
true; that about the end of the World they
shall be Lords of the world; that some shall come
who shall bring you much good, and after that they
have enriched the earth with all good things, those
Children of Israel going forth out of their Country,
shall subdue the whole World to them, as it was
subject to them formerly; you shall be happy if you
make a League with them."
"Then five of the
chiefe Indians (whom they call Cazici who were my
Ancestors, having understood the Prophesie of the
Magicians, which they had learned of the Wise men of
the Hebrewes, went thither, and after much entreaty,
obtained their desire, having first made knowne
their minde to that woman, whom you saw to be for an
Interpreter, (for your Brethren will have no
commerce with our Indians) and whosover of ours doth
enter the Country of the Brethren, they presently
kill him; and none of your Brehtren doe passe into
our Country. Now by the help of that Woman we made
this agreement with them."
"1 That our five
Cazici should come to them, and that alone at every
seventy moneths end."
"2 That he to whom secrets should be imparted,
should be above the age of three hundred Moones, or
Months."
"3 And that such things should be discovered to none
in any place where people are, but only in a Desart,
and in the presence of the Cazici; and so (said the
Indian) we keep that secret among our selves,
because that we promise our selves great favour from
them, for the good offices which we have done to our
Brethren, it is not lawfull for us to visite them,
unlesse at the seventy months end: Or if there
happens any thing new, and this fell out but thrice
in my time; First, when the Spaniards came into this
Land; also, when Ships came into the Southerne Sea;
and thirdly, when you came, whom they long wished
for, and expected. They did much rejoyce for those
three new things, because that they said, the
Prophesies were fulfilled."
"And Montezinus
also said, that three other Cazici were sent to him
by Franciscus, to Honda, yet not telling their
names, till he had said, you may speake to them
freely, they are my fellowes in my Function of whom
I have told you, the fifth could not come for age,
but those three did heartily embrace him; and
Montezinus being asked of what Nation he was, he
answered, an Hebrew, of the Tribe of Levi, and that
God [Adonay] was his God, etc. which when they had
heard, they embraced him againe, and said; Upon a
time you shall see us, and shall not know us; We are
all your Brethren, by Gods singular favour..."
[*] The "Mohanes"
were the Priests or Spiritual Guides of the ancient
Indigenous Pijao of the Cordillera Central in
Colombia.
After having made
a long exposition on the places of the Planet where
"The Lost Tribes of Israel" might have taken refuge,
Menasseh ben Israel says later in his book:
"SECT. 23. Hitherto we have shewed that the ten
Tribes are in divers places, as in the West-Indies,
in Sina; in the confines of Tartary, beyond the
river Sabbathion, and Euphrates, in Media, in the
Kingdome of the Habyssins; of all which the Prophet
Isaiah is to be understood, in Isa. 11. 11, [when
dealing with the coming of the Messias, he says,] It
shall come to passe in that day, that the Lord shall
set his hand the second time to recover the remnant
of his people, which shall he left from Assyria,
from Egypt, from Pathros, from Ethiopia, from Elam,
from Sinear, from Hamath, and from the Islands of
the Sea." (11. "And it shall come to pass at that
time, that the Lord shall use a second time His
might to redeem the remnant of His people, which
shall be left, from Assyria, and from Egypt, and
from Pattros, and from India, and from Elam, and
from Babylon, and from Hamath, and from the islands
of the sea." (Targum of Isaiah, XI: 11)."(...)"
"... Hamath, there are many Hamaths mentioned in the
Scripture, many understand it of Antioch; [and so
says the Chaldee Paraphrase.]"
Menasseh ben
Israel remarks:
"... no opinion more probable, nor agreeable to
reason, then that of our Montezinus,..." (Menasseh Ben Israel in "ORIGEN
DE LOS AMERICANOS esto es Esperanza de Israel
[Origin of the Americans this is The Hope of
Israel]." Madrid, 1881).
The narrative of Montezinos, who himself asserted
its veracity until the last days of his life, seems
unlikely to some people, arguing that there is no
evidence or that it is unscientific. But these
arguments do not prove that his narrative was not
true.
At that encounter
in the Cordillera (Central) of the Andes, the
Israelites mentioned by Montezinos did not speak
either Montezinos' Hebrew or Spanish. Montezinos
"understood not" what they said. The Indigenous
Francisco was the interpreter for both, which would
mean that either the Israelites spoke Indigenous
Francisco's language or Francisco knew something of
the Israelites' language unknown to Montezinos, who
spoke more by signs and gestures than words,
although they said few words in Spanish learned from
the Indigenous Francisco "the Indian Interpreter
being asked, how it was in Spanish,..."
How did the
Hebrews of the Cordillera of the Andes and
Montezinos, who was Jew, not understand each other
in their language?
Ancient Hebrew Language was lost. Even at the time
of the Babylonian Exile, the Books of Moses were
rewritten by Ezra... as since long time the Original
Books were already "lost" or hidden... "and in the
transmission they did not remain intact" as they
were distorted...
The Indigenous Francisco bore witness that the
Israelites of that Cordillera of the Andes wrote
everything on stone: "all that which is engraven
upon their stones is true;..."
The language spoken by "the sons of Israel" of the
Andes, if it was Hebrew, was an unknown Hebrew to
the Jew Aharon Levi or Montezinos "an Hebrew, of the
Tribe of Levi,..."
How did the "sons of Israel" come to the Cordillera
of the Andes? What traces did they leave behind
them? Why did they not reappear? etc., are queries
that some have made to question the veracity of
Montezinos' testimony, not considering that the
ancient inhabitants of what is today called America
spoke about communications, even over long
distances, through caves, caverns, tunnels, pathways
and cities within the Earth...
Archaeological investigations made in the present
Tolima Department (in the Cordillera Central of the
Andes of Colombia) have reported that this region
was already inhabited by Aboriginals more than
twelve thousand years ago.
The Indigenous (Pijao?) Francisco gave Montezinos a
hint that those "sons of Israel" were already there
when Indigenous arrived "in that place": "we
Indians made war upon them in that place, and used
them more hardly then we now are by the
Spaniards."
It is possible that the "sons of Israel" were
referring to the Hidden World Within the Earth as
their place of origin in the following words:
"4 They said
(speaking fast) shortly some of us will goe forth
to see, and to tread underfoot; at which word they
winked, and stamped with their feet."
"5 One day we
shall all of us talke together, they saying, Ba,
ba, ba; and we shall come forth as issuing out of
our Mother the earth."
Another evidence
(not far off) of the coming from within the Earth of
the "forefathers" of the Indigenous Aborigines of
the Cordilleras of the Andes, whose priests were
called "Mohanes", can be found in Chronicler Fray
Pedro Simon's following words:
"... indians who are called
Pijaos in this Kingdom (on whom we will dwell at
length in our third part) say that their
forefathers were born in the center of the
earth, and that they came to this world through
the mountains located between Cacataima river
and Anaima valley." ("Noticias Historiales de
las Conquistas de Tierra Firme en las Indias
Occidentales" [Historical Notices of the
Conquests of the Tierra Firme in the Western
Indies] by Fray Pedro Simon of the Order of
St. Francis of the New Kingdom of Granada",
"Part Two", edition of "1891").
The "Mohanes" of
the Indigenous People to whom Indigenous Francisco
(possibly an Indigenous Pijao) belonged were also
"Mohanes" or Pijao Priests whose ancestors came from
within the Earth through the mountains.
Going back to the colonization and expansion of the
descendants of the people who settled in the Andes
of Colombia, "people who" settled "in that region"
of "The Villa de la Candelaria of Medellín", due to
their rapid colonization, many other centers were
formed in different places of Colombia, one of which
we will briefly mention as related to the Messianic
Hopes of the Israel of the Andes of the spiritual
part:
"... A
significant number of settlers crosses the
Cordillera Central, penetrating into Tolima
Department..."

"In 1851, there was already a small village known
as Aldea del Líbano [Tolima Department, Colombia],
a hamlet that was colonized by Antioquians. Paisas
who, by pick and ax, cut down precious-wood trees
such as cedar, to build there a small village of
good-natured lands to which many Antioquian
families arrived little by little, factor that
constitutes Paisa idiosyncrasy which characterizes
Lebanese people." (From the book "La
Colonización Antioqueña" ["The Antioquian
Colonization"] by Eduardo Santa).
There, in the
"Aldea del Líbano", Tolima, Colombia, transformed
into a City years later, the Human Person of our
Venerable and Beloved Master Rabolú or the Prophet
Elijah reincarnate (who was the Great Matityahu of
"Villa de Modiin" or "Medein" in others times) was
born with strong Sephardic genetic heritage from
Antioquia, whose melting pot of Indigenous people,
Jews, Gypsies, Basques "and
tornadizos [turncoats, renegades] moors and
moorish" was gradually formed in
Villa de la Candelaria of Medellín (Villa de
Medeiin, Modeiin o Modiin?), Antioquia, in the
Cordilleras of the Andes in Colombia.
The Human Person
of V.M. Thoth-Moisés' Bodhisattva (Luis Bernardo
Palacio Acosta [De Acosta, D'Acosta)]) and
his Beloved Wife Gloria María del Socorro Vélez de
Palacio, also were born there, in Villa de la
Candelaria of Medellín. (*)

Colombian Poet
Jorge Isaacs, author of the Novel "María" and born
into an Israelite family, in his Poem "La Tierra de
Córdoba" ["The Land of Córdoba"], extols Antioquian
women's beauty where he says:
"... your daughters are
beautiful and pride of Israel."
Elijah and Moses
are, according to one key [of interpretation], the
Two Witnesses of the Apocalypse, the Two Lights on
both sides of the "Golden Candelabrum" of Seven
Branches or Menorah which, integrated into a whole,
form a Nine-Branched Candelabrum or Hanukiah, whose
Feast or Festival of Lights is celebrated by
tradition in Modeiin or Medeiin; and with a great
display of Lights in Villa de la Candelaria in
Medellín, in all Antioquia and the rest of Colombia.
The name "Antioquia" was given to this department of
the Andes of Colombia in remembrance of "the
disciples" of the Apostles of our Lord Jesus the
Christ who began to be called Christians first at
Antioch of Syria.
From the Andes of
Colombia, the "Tikkun" or Restoration of the
spiritual part of Israel of the Andes begun and,
from there, a new "Tikkun" or "Restoration" of the
Spiritual Temple of the Holy One, Blessed Be, and of
the Holy Shekinah also begun through all that is
symbolized and represented by the Menorah or
Candelabrum of Seven Lights, with Two more Lamps on
both sides that represent the Two Witnesses, Elijah
and Moses, integrating to shape the Hanukiah, or
Candelabrum of nine lighted lamps, to enlighten with
the Light of Christ, the Son of Man who is in the
midst of the seven golden candelabra, the Occult
Wisdom (Gnosis) of the Holy Torah.
In 1917, in the "Barrio Egipto [Egypt Quarter]" of
Santafé de Bogotá, Cundinamarca department, in
Colombia, the Human Person of our Venerable and
Beloved Master Samael Aun Weor's Bodhisattva, "The
Lion of the Tribe of Judah", the Warrior Priest King
Messiah announced in the Essene Texts found in the
caves surrounding Qumran, was born.
In 1926, in "El
Líbano", Tolima department, in Colombia, "colonized
by Antiochians", the Human Person of our Venerable
and Beloved Master Rabolú's Bodhisattva, the Ruler
King Messiah announced in the Essene Texts found in
the caves surrounding Qumran, was born.
In 1951, in
Medellín, Antioquia department, in Colombia, the
Human Person of V.M. Thoth-Moisés' Bodhisattva, the
Prophet King Messiah announced in the Essene Texts
found in the caves surrounding Qumran, was born.
Then, Our
Venerable and Beloved Master Judas of Kerioth's
announcement in "The Flight of the Feathered
Serpent" is being in part fulfilled, where
He says:
"And the Mayab
of the Andes be then the cradle of the new
civilization".
Likewise, the
beginning of "The Hope of Israel", the Israel of the Andes, of Latin
America, of the spiritual part, is also
being fulfilled.
"Only through the Great Arcanum
can we be saved and receive the name of the Father
on the forehead. The people of Zion are the people
of Israel (God's spiritual people). These
people are formed by all those who practice
sexual magic (people of chastity)."
(Venerable Master Samael Aun Weor's Teachings
in "The Message of Aquarius").
"Actually, here
Latin America, that is, the Andes, is called to
become the Cradle of Civilization, that is, of the
Spiritual part, it is called to accomplish a great
mission, as was accomplished by this..., in
Israel, over there, in Egypt... [*]" (Venerable
Master Rabolú's Teachings).

Israel in Egypt, Moses and all of Them..."
Shimon ben Yohai,
explaining Patriarch Jacob's prophecy in the Book of
Genesis, 49: 10 esoterically, says in The Zohar (we
place some explanations of ours in brackets):
"... 'The
sceptre shall not depart from Judah nor the
ruler's staff from between his feet', 'the
sceptre' referring to the Messiah of the house of
Judah [the Warrior Priest King Messiah, 'the Lion
of the Tribe of Judah', Venerable Master Samael
Aun Weor, 'the Initiator Word of the New Age of
Aquarius'], and 'the staff' to the Messiah of the
house of Joseph [the Ruler King Messiah, the
Prophet Elijah Reincarnate, our Venerable Master
Rabolú]. 'Until Shiloh cometh': this is
Moses [the Prophet King Messiah, V.M.
Thoth-Moisés], the numerical value of the two
names Shiloh and Moses being the same." (The
Zohar).
The study and
practice of the esoteric teachings contained in the
Zohar (studying them with "sharp eye" because there
are adulterations and interpolations that were
introduced throughout time) and in the light of
Venerable Master Samael Aun Weor's, Venerable Master
Rabolú's Gnostic teachings and V.M. Thoth-Moisés'
testimonies, contain the keys that allow us to
become "Sons of Israel" of the spiritual part, since
whoever incarnates Tiphereth,
who is the Son of Man, the Interior Inner Christ,
becomes an Israelite in his soul
and heart.
Shimon ben Yohai,
situating his prophetic teachings in a future,
though fulfilled before (one of the forms of
prophetic interpretation that can also be found in
the Essene Texts from Qumran), referred to the
Supreme Messiah's arrival in those times:
"... the Messiah
has revealed himself in the land of Galilee. And
all who are diligent in the study of the Torah
—and there shall be few such in the world— will
gather round him." (The Zohar).
The previous
words, in an Interpretation, refer to our
Lord Jesus The Christ, the Supreme
Messiah who revealed Himself "in the land of
Galilee".
In these end times, the eschatological "Galilee" is
Latin America, the lands from where the Three
Messiahs sent by the Supreme Messiah who is our Lord
Jesus The Christ, the Only-Begotten Son of the
Absolute Heavenly Father, our Father who is in
